Things are continuing to heat up at the Project Game ON construction site as we head into the summer months. In the month of May, the project team made progress on:

• Finishing the Butler-Gast YMCA’s footings and cast-in-place foundation walls. Now, exterior walls are being backfilled, which involves refilling the excavated dirt that was removed when the foundation was built.
• Installing the support piece for the video scoreboard in the south end zone of the North High stadium.
• Beginning work on the east maintenance and visitors concession building.
• Making headway on underground utility and plumbing work throughout the site.

Next steps include work on the pool (fitting for the summertime), retaining wall construction on the stadium, concrete floors in the south team room and more.
