Project Game ON construction update: July 2026
The excitement continues to rise at the Project Game ON construction site as walls and other pivotal, foundational structures get built. If you're driving by the site, here's what you can expect.
- The North High stadium continues to take shape, as the visitors’ concession building and the south team room walls progress. The large block retaining wall near the south team room is going up now, and excavation has started on the north team room.
- The crew is daydreaming about the Butler-Gast YMCA’s new pool during these hot summer months now that the shell of it has been excavated. Other work at the YMCA includes continued progress on underground utilities and walls that are being produced off-site and will be brought in soon.
- The new combined sewer system is completed and tied into the City’s system. 36th Street is now open again, and 34th Avenue will open again soon as paving work continues.
There is a lot more work to come this summer, and we look forward to sharing more soon!
Ongoing project updates, renderings and opportunities for future community engagement will be shared at ProjectGameON.org. Questions? Contact us.
