The next phase of Project Game ON is underway. On Sept. 9, 2025, project partners began the construction process for the new Butler-Gast YMCA and North High stadium. This marks a major milestone for the project, which aims to create accessible, affordable health, wellness and youth development opportunities in North Omaha. 

Following the Butler-Gast YMCA’s closure on July 18, YMCA members have continued to enjoy full access to all 13 YMCA locations across the Omaha metro, including nearby branches such as the Maple Street YMCA and the Downtown YMCA. 

As construction begins, the YouTurn building, formerly located at 34th and Ames avenues, is in the process of moving to its new location at 117 N. 32nd Ave. YouTurn's team will continue their meaningful and vital work in the North Omaha community.
